• I was really excited about this movie coming out, I even made a bet that it would do ALOT better than it has done. The acting in the movie didn't move me at all. The story never gave you a chance to get to know and understand the characters that  were about to face....... tragedy at that.... When you watch a movie or anything that requires your time and focus, that presentation needs to take you to a place, the script needs to come out and drag you into the story, and you need to feel as if you were experiencing the story line as it reveals the plot...... World Trade Center fails to get you involved with the lives that were changed, so by the time you were watching a tragic story line, you were already not really reeled into the story to begin with, thus, leaving you to not really care about the out come. The only thing this movie had going for itself was the fact that we lived through the 9-11 crisis and knew exactly what the characters were facing, enough to at least feel the over all pain that was created from 9-11 to begin with, however this feeling of empathy has already had it's place in our being since the original news reports broke down real life stories. I give the movie a 2 out of 10. I give Nicholas Cage a 5 out of 10 for his acting, but I give the overall impact of this movie a 1 ........  I would have been better off renting...........................
