  The Dream

One late night, 
as 
the chill 
came off the boats of England,
you were cold and tired from 
7 
days of sick sea travel
To the new found 
West 
where you would become enlightened by religion
 to
 return to our home
 to be married 
and rest
with our two children unknown to the universe 
but in dream.
Late in dew, as the ships rang silently torn in waters eye view
you sadly teared and held me as water rush deck 
in harming way,
sweeping us un matched into direction unparallel,
 never to be 
acquainted in what life we had, 
your grip could not be matched 
as you hold on 
to my fin, 
spout breathing 
air
into your mouth 
resting chin. 

Safe you feel, 
scared for life,
 but no fear is within
for
 saved was your

 life.

Ashore you were left, as could not haven gotten closer to sand
for my journey 
2nd 
to yours was to save your plan.
In this journey 
back you were so lost that returning to your home
was the ultimate cost, 
you could not bare such loss,
 so you stay 
on new land and to your 3rd time through.

Young and brave, 
and loving wave, 
you grow impatiently waiting
for me to enter again.
As you stare from across a floor packed with 
friends,
 you notice me, 
and feel the past,
without being able to recognize, 
but you feel me, 
and you don't understand.

Right from first contact, 
we communicate the plan, 
that was never 
accomplished because of the scarce of lands,
Un-traveled
marveled
and abandoned in your mind,
but I 
know 
that 
life 
would never leave us
 behind

I am an angel 
sent to guide 
you to where we were supposed to be
without warning you have arrived
just 
without me.

You might never understand
that it was part of the plan
for you 
to understand 
my journey as 
man.

My 
promise 
to him
was to get you there.
