You are so far
yet
I can feel your hair
 in my face

the smell relaxing
in my pillow......
and 
your 
hand pat my chest
gently !

When I am lost
I 
drive over
and
creep through your yard, 
and 
sneak into your
 room
where I can
snuggle with your pillow
 sprawling  
on your little bed 
and 
dream 
you'll walk through the door
with 
a guess bag
 in your hand
knowing
your first stop is
the 
bathroom 

I 
leave the window curtain pulled
in case you 
decide to surprise me by waving your hand through the window,

because
I can 
see 
your face
shimmer 
lightly 
on
the 
water...

When I am Lost
I 
order a grilled cheese 
from the diner
and I eat at our table..

don't worry!
I 
always
save you a seat 
just for u in case u 
decide
your 
hear with me 
and
want to eat !

Sometimes
my phone 
rings like tonight...

you called back and said

"I didn't mean to say "Fuck You"

you didn't have to call me back to say you 
didn't mean it,
 I already know !

Just in case you are wondering,
 
I am lost without you near,

but found because I know 
I am with you
in mind, body, and soul...
and 
that alone keeps me 
happy
 in
 thought ! !
