Nominations for the 36th annual American Music Awards are here ! ! ! ! The show will air all the way live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on November 23rd. The one and only James Bond theme singing girleee...... Alicia Keys got the most nominations with five, followed by Coldplay and Eagles with four each. Jimmy Kimmel will host for the fifth time and he is expected to be on FIRE......... "She was born just a generation past slavery; a time when there were no cars on the road or planes in the sky; when someone like her couldn't vote for two reasons ......... because she was a woman and because of the color of her skin "

"And tonight, I think about all that she's seen throughout her century in America the heartache and the hope; the struggle and the progress; the times we were told that we can't, and the people who pressed on with that American creed.... Yes we can.

And this year, in this election, she touched her finger to a screen, and cast her vote, because after 106 years in America, through the best of times and the darkest of hours, she knows how America can change. Yes We Can !!!!!!!!

America, we have come so far. We have seen so much. But there is so much more to do. So tonight, let us ask ourselves ...... if our children should live to see the next century; if my daughters should be so lucky to live as long as Ann Nixon Cooper, what change will they see? What progress will we have made? This is our chance to answer that call. This is our moment.

( Obabma is one of the best speakers of our time, I am proud to say I lived to see the day we brought unity into our worlds, and voted a strong black man into office as the president to lead our country, and be respected every step of the way ) Go Obama !

Ok, ladies, if DB was your man, and he was at a Lakers Game chilling front and center with Francesca Leiweke, what would you be concerned about, if anything.......... Just curious.....

Well, it's having an effect on her to some degree...... 'she's losing weight because of the stress of him moving away and the next few months will be tough on both of them,' a source claimed in Grazia magazine ..... one of them magazine's you can read on line if your down !

Apparently, when this split to work on jobs came up, she was good, but now it's having an effect on her............

Angelina Jolie recently sat down with LA Times to talk about her critically acclaimed performance in her new film Changeling and how the movie played out..... She also opened up about her high-profile family and her career choices now that she is a mother, and how she manages them together.... with Brad, and without Brad.....

On her recent role as a mother who loses her son in Changeling: “Christine fought so hard under such incredible circumstance for the rights of other women. It was a real story that I thought sent a positive message about what you can accomplish. About democracy in action.”

On her mom roles in movies ( her 4th in a row ) : “I don’t think it’s a choice of mine as much as it is something women deal with when we get older. A woman in her 30s is more likely to have roles that in some way relate to family.” She added “I got pregnant right in the middle of it and I think partially because of it,” she said, smiling. “I was so emotional about children that I think something in me kicked into gear.”

On her trips to Afghanistan as a goodwill ambassador for the UN : “I woke up at 3 in the morning with four kids with jet lag and two babies. I put myself together for a few hours and go out. And then I go home. This is my job.” She speaks on behalf of Hollywood by also saying, “I don’t dislike it here, I just really do love to travel. I love other cultures. And I love raising my kids in the world. I’m so fortunate that I get to do that.” Lastly, she speaks about what is truly her priority in life.......... “The center of my life is my kids.”

Yes... he seems to be just that ... a cool dad

Barack Obama may be the ( cool ) new president..... but when it comes to being ( daddy ) he is getting the ( cool dad award ) with an A+ in parent-teacher meetings, doing the dishes, watching the kids... ( babysitter ) school functions ........ ballet recitals and even reading Harry Potter with his girls, he says he’s just like the rest of us..... probably tired.........

The new issue of Us Weekly details the special bond between Obama and his (2) daughters, Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, and how the President-elect acts like a modern dad too just like any other: sharing parenting duties, attending school conferences and scheduling the occasional date night with his wife and his publicly proclaimed “best friend”, Michelle.

As you may remember .... during the campaign, Michelle proudly said that Barack is a dedicated family kinda guy all the way...... To top it all off on the family tip...... earlier this week, Michelle began visiting potential schools for the girls. And even though they’ll have a personal chef, movie theater, and other perks in the White House, they’ll still be focusing on, “homework, chores, dance and soccer,” Michelle said before the election,

“We have to put the children’s education…first,” Michelle has said. Barack agreed and added “I think I’m a pretty cool dad.”

Hudson Murders ....... The details emerge

If your like me at all, then you are still at awww with the news coming out of Chi Town about the murders of Hudson's family members... but DAMN ! a 7yr old kid, whoever is convicted of this crime will most definitely face a death sentence in Illinois....... Well there is one place offering a light on this tragedy ........ The new issue of People magazine, on newsstands now, which includes a cover story on the murders of Jennifer Hudson's close knit family. The magazine illustrates the ( togetherness ) Hudson was with her mother Darnell Donnerson, her brother Jason and nephew Julian ( 7 yrs old ) ........ the family of 3 that were chillingly killed last week.

The suspected murder man William Balfour, the estranged husband of Jennifer's sister Julia ( fyi ...... Julian's mother) had been known to make serious threats about killing the family in the past ... SICK ! Valerie Griffin ( a neighbor of the family ) speaks out, "He used to say, 'I'm going to kill Julia and the whole family,'"

Sick Sick Sick people that take lives of children should be put to rest.. PERIOD

FYI... even with his trouble from his past...... T-I voted for the first time yesterday morning in Atlanta, joining millions of Americans who've cast ballots in states with early voting. Despite last year's run-in with the law, the FBI, guns, felonies... jail time in the past and forthcoming...... the rapper recently discovered that he was eligible to vote and wanted to exercise his right. DAMN..... i love the US........ Tip says, "Feels like I've taken advantage of my right to become a part of the democracy. It was definitely worth standing in line and doing all the things people complain about voting. I think it's more than worth it."

I wanted to do some cool stuff for kids to start off with, some hats just to get my foot in the door, because hopefully we'll do another deal next season and have a wide array of designs and stuff for the hats." Brown goes on to say that it comes natural to be creative and design..... "I always draw all the time. Notebooks, sketchbooks, tables, walls... I just draw all the time. As far as the hats go, I had an initial design of what I wanted, and then they had another artist tweak my idea, enhance it, and so that's how we worked it up." Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed a bill that bans texting while driving ! That means that silly ass woman driving next to me every morning on the way to work is getting a phat ass ticket if she gets caught texting and driving... HELL YEAH ! You'd be surprised at all the texting-related accidents on the road. There are a few other dramas on the road that are causing a series of freak accidents....... too funny..... while applying make up, a woman caused a 5 car pile up..... wow.... there are a host of other things besides the cell phone ....
