trouble getting the awards show off the
ground... full details are below with
surrounding drama from the writers strike.
On line writers are getting mad at the writers strike.... Perez
Hilton says, "How is the music business hurting the striking
writers??? It's not", ............ wow ! Apparently the
problem is the fact that there are actors and others in the industry
that wouldn't cross the line for the show..... These actors and
industry insiders that are needed to post this show would not be a
part of the show... As you know, CBS is part of the big media that
is refusing to negotiate with writers, and CBS would need the WGA to
be a HUGE contributor to the show, which.... won't
happen...... The WGA already said it would refuse to grant the
Grammy's a waiver that would allow them to use WGA members to write
the show, so this leaves the Grammy's with a few holes to fill......
For example, last year, Quentin Tarantino, Nicolas Cage,
Samuel L. Jackson, David Spade, Terrence Howard, Luke Wilson,
and Chris Rock appeared on the show... which wouldn't happen this
year...... Also, on the big screen you saw the likes of Jack White,
Jon Bon Jovi, Justin Timberlake, Queen Latifah, Tim McGraw, Beyonce,
Fantasia and T.I. who would be considered working with the WGA and
if they wanted to continue in the future, crossing the line wouldn't
be in their best interest.......... Fighting really sucks

has spoken out following
the shocking death
of Heath this past
Tuesday in New York.
According to a statement
from the family:
"Heath's
family confirms the very
tragic, untimely and
accidental passing of our
dearly loved son, brother
and doting father of
Matilda. He was found
peacefully asleep in his
New York apartment by his
housekeeper at 3:30 p.m.
U.S. time. We
would like to thank our
friends and everyone
around the world for their
well wishes and kind
thoughts at this time.
Heath has touched so many
people on so many
different levels during
his short life but few had
the pleasure of truly
knowing him. He
was a down to earth,
generous, kind-hearted,
life-loving and selfless
individual who was
extremely inspirational to
many. Please now respect
our families need to
grieve and come to terms
with our loss
privately."

Despite
what American Idol has
done for him.... he
trashes em hard core.....
but you know what... I
think he's right, American
Idol is losing it's
luster....... After last
years Sanjya... and I
could name 10000 things I
really didn't like, I have
to say, Chris is
absolutely right.....
American Idol as a TV
show... it's credibility
is on the line, or at
least it was last year,
but I think this form of
credibility is like a
football team, it's the
kind of credibility that
was once proven at one
time, so people give it a
chance, can it get better
than it was....

It's so sad that when
you're asked something and you answer
honestly….you're made out to be the bad
guy. Yes, I'm referring to the Rolling Stone
post. The funny thing is, if you heard the
whole conversation you would've heard all
the good things I said about the show as
well. Like for instance: How it's an amazing
platform to launch a career….."If you
take it seriously!!!!" Let's not forget
I was a struggling artist for 11 years that
never got any respect or notoriety so know
that I'm eternally grateful for the
opportunity that Idol gave me. And that's
where my comments came from. It all started
when the interviewer (who was great by the
way) asked me where the "Idol stigma
everyone talks about" comes from. Ya
know….the reason people never take anyone
from the show serious in the real world and
why people say "oh they came from AI,
they're not real artists." So, I
answered that I don't feel that enough
"artists" try out for the show
because of how many people they focus on
that are obviously there for comedic and
entertainment value. And when you focus
enough on people that aren't serious about
it then it's hard for the audience to take
you as an artist serious. And it's also hard
as a potential contestant to think it's a
good way to get seen because you're afraid
of being made a joke of. I also said I think
it's AWESOME that they are letting the
contestants play their own instruments and
that I feel that will show something in the
contestants that people (the audience) never
get to see….but that wasn't printed. My
long winded point is this….I was never
trying to "DISS" the show or
"BITE THE HAND THAT FED ME" so to
speak. I was simply giving my input on what
I think would spice the show up a bit.

Here's the BAD BAD NEWS.......The WGA has
announced the plans you can read by clicking here These
are the plans to picket the ceremony, which makes no sense since
this is an awards show saluting musicians, not writers.......
On line writers are getting mad at the writers strike.... Perez
Hilton says, "How is the music business hurting the striking
writers??? It's not", ............ wow ! Apparently the
problem is the fact that there are actors and others in the industry
that wouldn't cross the line for the show..... These actors and
industry insiders that are needed to post this show would not be a
part of the show... As you know, CBS is part of the big media that
is refusing to negotiate with writers, and CBS would need the WGA to
be a HUGE contributor to the show, which.... won't
happen...... The WGA already said it would refuse to grant the
Grammy's a waiver that would allow them to use WGA members to write
the show, so this leaves the Grammy's with a few holes to fill......
For example, last year, Quentin Tarantino, Nicolas Cage,
Samuel L. Jackson, David Spade, Terrence Howard, Luke Wilson,
and Chris Rock appeared on the show... which wouldn't happen this
year...... Also, on the big screen you saw the likes of Jack White,
Jon Bon Jovi, Justin Timberlake, Queen Latifah, Tim McGraw, Beyonce,
Fantasia and T.I. who would be considered working with the WGA and
if they wanted to continue in the future, crossing the line wouldn't
be in their best interest.......... Fighting really sucks
